The Perth LEGO Users Group is today happy to announce that it will be supporting The Starlight Foundation for the 2021 Brickmas Appeal.
Paul Grabovac, Hospital Program Manager for Starlight WA said today, “We would be honoured to be a recipient of this amazingly generous offer. Probably unsurprising to you but Lego is hugely popular in the Hospital as it crosses all ages and all backgrounds as children, young people and teens love to test their skills or just relax by building something with Lego.”

Started in 2015, the Brickmas Appeal sees new LEGO sets delivered to children in hospital at Christmas time. To date PerthLUG has supported Princess Margaret Hospital (2015), Fiona Stanley Hospital (2016), The Canteen Foundation (2017 and 2018) and Perth Children’s Hospital (2019). Due to the Covid pandemic there was no 2020 recipient and so by supporting The Starlight Foundation on 2021 we hope to make this year truly unforgettable.
Getting involved and supporting this fantastic initiative is as easy as buying a small LEGO set or polybag or even a minifigure and donating it to the appeal, which will be delivered to Starlight in December (date TBC). Collection locations will be announced soon. Please note that due to health and hygiene regulations we can only accept donations of new and sealed LEGO.
