Perth Lego® Users Group (PerthLUG) is an Incorporated Association and has an executive committee to keep the cogs turning nicely. All of our roles are elected roles. Anyone within our community can nominate for these roles at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) – held in November.
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and General Members have a term length of two (2) years but can be extended on a 2 year basis if there are no new nominations. A maximum of three (3) of these positions can be called for at the AGM inclusive of one (1) General committee member. The community Ambassador has a recommended term of 4 years, and cannot hold any of the other committee roles simultaneously.
Represents the association at any formal meetings/events with external entities. Spokesperson, meetings chairperson. Manage the content on the association’s website. Administration of the association’s social media accounts.
Acts in the absence of the President. Manage new member applications. Administration of the association’s social media accounts.
Prepare and distribute meeting notices/agendas/minutes for committee meetings, AGMs and any special meetings. Maintain association documentation as required. Maintain the official association email account. Maintain the register of Members.
Keep records and accounts for the association’s financial affairs. Ensure all money due is collected and all outgoing payments are authorised and made.
General Members (x2)
Provide support in events coordination or communication, maintenance and content of the website and social media as needed.
Official liaison between The LEGO Group and the PerthLUG community and committee. Provides feedback to The LEGO Group as the voice for our community. Consults and contributes to the Ambassador network to enrich our community with ideas, advice, events etc… as well as share our experiences with other LUGs.
