December Raffle Winners!

Winners (Left to right): Amy, William, Lukas, Helen & Jason.

Buildapalooza is Perth Lego Users Group’s build night. Every month on the second Monday we get together to talk Lego, build Lego and just catch up. Also, we have raffle prizes!

Included in your $5 entry fee is an entry into our door prize. This month we had 3 door prizes again just for walking inside! Courtesy of The Lego Group, attendees of our last Buildapalooza of the year had the chance to take home either the Creator 3in1 Race Car Transporter set no. 31113 or one of two Creator 3in1 mighty Space Mining Mech set no. 31115. Helen and Amy took the mechs with them while Jason scored the Transporter set. Congrats folks!

We also have an optional, extra raffle attendees can buy into for just a couple bucks. This month we had the seasonally appropriate Icons Holiday Main Street set no. 10308 and as a second prize for extra awesomeness we had the Gift With Purchase Tribute to Lego House set no. 40563 very kindly donated by Amy. Our community is so kind and generous!

Somehow Lukas (that’s me!) snagged the Holiday Main Street despite whispers of shenanigans and an internal investigation no doubt already in the works 😉 Meanwhile, William won the Lego House tribute set and our congratulations go out to the little fella and all our winners!

Last night was our last Buildapalooza for the year but not to fret because there’s a lot more in store coming in 2023! Our community continues to grow and so does the range of our events from the monthly build nights to sales days like Minifigpalooza, the quiz night and our hugely successful Brickmas appeal giving children the joy that Lego can bring in tough times. We look forward to 2023 and wish all our members a magical time through the festive period.

Buildapalooza will be back in January so join us on the 9th 7-11pm at our regular location at John McGrath Pavilion off Hensman st, Como. All are absolutely welcome and we look forward to seeing you in the new year!
