PerthLUG member Andrew Gill showed a few people the BrickHawk app at our monthly Buildapalooza. It is an amazing app and for those keen on getting alerts when lego becomes available or on sale, this is for you.
Andrew: “It’s something I came across since the last build night. (I’m sharing this for those who may find it useful, I have no affiliation with them) It’s fantastic at alerting you of out of stock items as soon as they come available. The system searches up to 30 popular LEGO retailers or you can choose which particular ones you prefer. You can also receive alerts for LEGO elements (e.g. individual bricks) from Bricks and Pieces and Pick-a-Brick. If something rare comes back in stock you can be emailed immediately to purchase. You can also set deal alerts so it will only notify you if a particular set you want, or a theme you like, is at a new price and a particular % discounted than the RRP from lego.com.au. For example, say you only want to know of anything 30%+ off. If you see a deal in store or something for sale you can quickly search the history on the website to see what’s the cheapest it has ever been and how this price compares etc. And lots more. I suggest you have a read through the full list of features on the website. brickhawk.com/premium
There are limited features available free but for me personally I have already saved plenty and been able to grab some deals I wouldn’t have known about without.”
Thanks Andrew. Awesome resource for all.
