Plain Strange

Lego Stranger Things options are slim right now with not a lot on the horizon sadly. The Upside Down set number 75810 was an underappreciated set at the time and now recently retired, is going for an absolute bomb. Having binged season 4 of the Netflix mega-hit, this BrickHeadz set is about the only Lego option available to scratch that nostalgia-baiting supernatural itch.
At an RRP of $29.99, it’s certainly a lot more affordable at least. For BrickHeadz collectors, you pretty much know what to expect with the build. You’ll only need about twenty minutes or so to throw together the combined 192 pieces and have your two completed figures. Eleven has a printed 1x2x3 brick to make up her pink dress and in hand, a 1×1 round printed tile depicted her beloved Eggo waffle. Meanwhile, the Demogorgon sports five appropriately menacing printed petal tiles that can be hinged outward according to your particular preference.
The Demogorgon really stands out, even in its reductive BrickHeadz form. It’s really quite fun. Eleven on the other hand really is about as bland as it gets. A casual fan may struggle to even recognize the character in this form so I highly recommend displaying the two figures together as clearly intended by their box presentation.
Collectors will probably not need a lot of convincing with this set; the Demogorgan stands out in the BrickHeadz range. For hardcore fans of Lego and the series, well, you don’t have too many other options. As a gift, this could be perfect for any Stranger Things fan even if they’ve never put two bricks together.
